We’re approaching a big moment for the number1sblog… The 1000th UK #1 single. We’re currently 25 chart-toppers away, and by my estimations we should reach the milestone in late June/early July.

I’m planning some special posts to celebrate making it this far, but would love for regular readers to get involved too. If you would like to write a guest post, let me know below. It can be on your favourite (or least favourite) #1, a song you think should have been #1, an act you think should have been #1, the song that was #1 on the day of your birth, a cover version of a #1, a B-side to a famous #1… anything chart-slash-number one related!
